Training centre

EUROVIA CS has its own educational centre in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. In addition to employees from the Czech Republic, the centre shall serve also for employees from Slovakia, Lithuania, and Poland.

This own training centre is the proper way to improve and intensify employees’ qualification. The quality background facilities provide the space to sit examinations, acquire certificates, and pass the training, which employees need to exercise their professions. The program centre is focused on improvement of skills mainly for blue-collar workers. Special working areas enable to practice operation of building machines as well as manual labour, such as laying of interlocking pavement, building of sewer systems, or construction of bus stops including ramps for wheelchairs.

The Centre shall also offer facilities enabling to gain new knowledge not only in the field of building production, but also in the area of bituminous mixes production, or mining and processing of aggregates, development of managerial skills and improvement of computer literacy.

Construction work will start on the northern section of the D1 motorway in Slovakia near Levoča

Members of a consortium consisting of EUROVIA SK, a.s., EUROVIA CS, a.s., and Stavby mostov Slovakia, a.s. (Bridge Construction Slovakia Inc), have undersigned today the design and construct contract for the 2nd Section of the D1 motorway from Jánovce to Jablonov with Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (National Motorway Company Inc). The consortium shall build this almost 10km long section of the D1 motorway near Levoča for half the initially planned cost.

The EUROVIA CS Construction Group’s profits have risen thanks to a PPP project in Slovakia, and it will focus on expanding its portfolio of services

The EUROVIA CS Group’s consolidated turnover in 2011 was CZK 25.3 billion. Profit after tax, calculated according to international standards, was CZK 1.36 billion. As at the end of December the EUROVIA CS Group employed 3 599 people.
