Environmental protection

EUROVIA CS places emphasis on responsible behavior towards the living environment, its improvement, sustainable growth, and development of new, even more environmentally friendly technologies. Through its working methods, the Company strives to reach the greatest limitation of negative impacts of building works, better use of inputs, waste minimization, or limitation of pollution including dust nuisance. The Company endeavors to involve all employees in achievement of Company’s objectives.

The Company proves its responsible approach to the environment by a number of awards for its projects. Last year, the bridge crossing over the D1 motorway “Mengusovce – Jánovce” in km 19.7 – a field path forming the migration passage of animals – was awarded as a project having environmental benefits within the frame of the WATENVI International Water Management and Environmental Fair, and URBIS TECHNOLOGIES International Fair of Municipal Utility Technologies. The prize for the environmental contribution of a project implemented in 2009 was awarded to the Road I/44 “Červenohorské sedlo – sever” (Red Mountain Saddle – North). This prize was awarded to this Project by the Association “We build environmentally friendly” together with the Ministry of the Environment, and Association of Entrepreneurs in the Construction Industry in the Czech Republic. A prize was also awarded to the unique footbridge for pedestrians and bikers in Dačice. In 2009, EUROVIA CS earned the PRESTA certificate of merit – prestigious project of the South Bohemia – for a carefully carried out reconstruction.
